Create an Account and Workspace

An Upsurge account gives you access to one merchant workspace. The guided setup creates the first site and its public site ID in one operation.

Create the account

  1. Open the registration page.
  2. Enter your name and email address.
  3. Create a password with at least eight characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.
  4. Select a plan and accept the terms.
  5. Submit the form. Upsurge opens the dashboard after the merchant account is ready.

If your deployment offers a connected identity provider on the registration screen, you can use it instead of an email password.

Complete guided setup

The setup wizard saves progress in the current browser. Complete these five steps:

  1. Account information — company name, industry, company size, phone, and timezone.
  2. Website — the storefront domain and site type.
  3. Products — recommendations, overlays, and chatbot features you intend to use. Analytics is enabled for the site.
  4. Affiliate account — an optional affiliate network selection. Choose no network to continue without one.
  5. Shopping cart integration — Shopify, WooCommerce, or a manual browser tag.

Finishing the wizard atomically creates the first active site and provides its site ID and browser installation snippet.

Product choices are workspace defaults

Selecting products during setup enables their workspace and site settings. It does not publish a campaign. You will configure, preview, and publish each customer-facing experience later.

If you skipped setup

Skipping the wizard does not create the first site or a usable site ID.

  1. Open Dashboard → Sites.
  2. Select Add site.
  3. Enter a display name, domain, site type, and integration platform.
  4. Create the site and copy its public site ID or installation snippet.

You can reopen the guided setup from the dashboard until server-side onboarding is complete.

Check the result

Open Dashboard → Sites. The storefront should be listed as Active with:

  • the normalized domain;
  • its site type and integration platform;
  • its public site ID;
  • zero or more received events.

Continue to Connect a storefront.
